Shales McNutt Construction was formed in June 2001 to carry on the construction management and commercial/industrial general contracting activities of Seagren/Shales, Inc., a contractor founded in 1983. Seagren/Shales, Inc. was being split up along product lines to accommodate the transfer of ownership to the next generation of owners. At that time John McNutt joined with Jack Shales, Mike Shales and John Shales to form the new partnership. These four very experienced construction executives envisioned a company that could provide customers with the best value for every construction dollar spent. To implement this vision they have assembled a first-class team of estimators, project managers, site superintendents and tradesmen committed to working as a team, with the client and other professionals, to deliver the project on-time, within budget and built to specification.
