    The new state-of-the-art library facility in Byron, Illinois is now open to the public. Designed by PSA-Dewberry/BCA of Elgin, this building is targeting U.S. Green Building Counsel LEED® rating of Gold. This building includes a geothermal heat pump system, dual flush toilets, reflective metal roof and concrete parking lot to minimize heat effects, and energy efficient windows.

Designed by PSA-Dewberry/BCA of Elgin, Illinois, the building features low flow plumbing fixtures, electric plugs to recharge police vehicles, native trees and shurbs for minimal maintenance and low-emitting finishes with low or no VOC content
