Elgin Child and Family Resource Center
SMC acted as general contractor on this two-story, multi-use facility and also self-performed most carpentry work. Built within a historic district of Elgin, Illinois, this facility was constructed to provide childcare for children of low-income parents, in addition to counseling for their families. With a combined effort between local funding agencies, the architect and the general contractor, this facility meets a great need within the community.
