Judson University - Harm A. Weber Academic Center
The Harm A. Weber Academic Center is a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly facility housing the University's Department of Art, Department of Architecture, and Library. The facility is seeking gold-level LEED certification and uses such "green" techniques as natural (buoyant) ventilation, thermal massing, direct sunlight shading, advanced lighting controls, and photovoltaic panels - all in order to save energy. SMC served as the construction manager for the project as well as the general trades contractor.
