How long does it take to convert a 5,000 square foot bank facility into a state of the art diagnostic imaging center? For SMC, it only took nine weeks. By building a team between the owner, architect and SMC, we were able to successfully accomplish what some thought couldn't be done. This project not only involved the typical build out renovation of adding walls, moving plumbing, and complete new finishes, but also the necessary addition of copper shielding, slab/underground revisions and significant power upgrades for the new MRI unit.
