Provena St. Joseph – Cardio Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
This project involved converting one floor of the North wing of the existing Provena St. Joseph Hospital from a 1970′s era patient care wing to a state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The project required complete demolition of all interior walls and infrastructure, as well as an all new air handling system dedicated to the unit. Like many other medical renovations SMC has successfully completed, this also required careful planning, coordination, and excessive cleanliness so that the hospital could continue to operate as it normally would.
