Village of Pingree Grove Police Facility
SMC was hired early in the design process to provide pre-construction services for the Village of Pingree Grove. This project consisted of the construction of a new full-service police station (a first for Pingree Grove) and included an Emergency Operations Command Center within the training room. The facility was designed to be environmentally responsible, while not impacting the needs or functions of the police facility or expanding the project budget. The facility was constructed on a previously undeveloped site and was regonized by the U.S. Green Building Counsel as a LEED® Silver rated facility.
