Fulton Street Parking Deck
SMC was selected as the design-build contractor for this project. The City of Elgin was in need of additional parking for its rapidly growing downtown. SMC worked with FGM Architects and Carl Walker Parking to create a 520 car, 5-story pre-cast parking structure that complimented both the new and historic buildings in the area. Despite the complex foundation plan and very tight inner-city site, construction was completed in about 9 months.
