Gail Borden Library Café
The Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin’s down town was built with room to accommodate a café or coffee shop. Five years after opening, the library welcomed La Tazza Café, a retailer known for its European grown coffee. Shales McNutt Construction acted as Construction Manager on the addition of this 1,200 sf Café which features modern décor and offers coffee, tea, sandwiches, pasta, soups, salads, pastries and more for library patrons.
