South Elgin Fire Station 2
The South Elgin Fire Protection District needed to add a second Fire Station to meet the needs of a growing population. Shales McNutt Construction was selected as the General Contractor to complete this project. This facility included two double-loaded apparatus bays, a maintenance bay, living quarters, offices and a training room. The appearance of the station was modeled to keep a consistent style with its residential surroundings.
