How do you add a functional sprinkler system to a beautiful mid-19th century sanctuary while preserving its charm? SMC did so by assembling quality contractors and creating a team-focus between the owner and the architect. SMC also built an addition which wrapped around two sides of the existing building — providing the challenge of working around, underpinning and stabilizing old stone foundations.
